A
'COSY' EXPERIENCE
Cosy
Cats Cattery was built in the autumn of 1992 after over
two years careful planning. In the autumn of 1998 we added
four new deluxe suites to give a choice of accommodation.
Set in a large garden it provides a pleasant and stimulating
environment for your cat. We welcome and encourage you to
look around prior to booking.
We
have three styles of housing for cats. Our 19 standard
pens are spacious and accommodate
up to two cats. Where there are more than two, we can
open up connecting gates, so
families
can share. The spacious insulated chalets are hygienically
lined and we provide a heated bed when the weather requires.
Our
deluxe suites have larger runs and houses. Ideal for
two+
cat families, there are two sleeping levels inside. In
the run we have included a play post and also a viewing
shelf so the cats can see all that is going on in the
garden.
These pens are also ideal for elderly/disabled cats, who
can sleep at ground level.
Our
1 superdeluxe pen is a larger
version of the Deluxe and is suitable for 3-6 cats who
like to be together. As well as the tiered play post there
is an extra sleeping shelf inside the house and two large
climbing shelves on the left side of the pen.
HOME
COMFORTS
Owners
are welcome to bring along familiar items such as bedding
(clean and not too thick please, to allow heat through),
toys and scratching posts etc. to help their cat settle.
Cats who enjoy it, are groomed. We have night-lights on
in the corridor overnight for additional comfort.
We
have large play centres available for daily hire
for
your cat's added enjoyment during its stay with us. Reserve
one when you book.
Food
is prepared in our purpose built 'cat-kitchen'. We endeavour
to feed cats on foods they are used to at home, or as close
as possible. We stock the major branded tins and also
the
ranges of Hills and Iams dried food. Special or prescribed
diets are fed by arrangement, whilst fresh foods of
fish/meat
can also be
provided for an extra charge.
HEALTH
& VACCINATIONS
All
cats must be up to date with their vaccinations for Feline
Enteritis and Cat Flu. The certificate provided by your
vet must be shown to us on admission.
During
his/her stay we keep a record of your cat's eating and toilet
habits and also about how it settles down. You will receive
a copy of this on collection day, plus, we keep a copy in
your folder for future reference.
A
local vet is on call at all times. Medication will
be administered where required, including
diabetic injections. Please contact us to discuss your
needs.
